Apple released enters into the AR/VR Spatial Reality headset with its brand new product called Apple Vision Pro.
This product redefines the segment of wearable technology into the next level, unseen anything like it so far by any other. Facebook came up with its own Meta Quest 3, but nothing comes close to this Apple's new one.
Vision Pro is nothing but a whole computer built inside that tiny aluminium shell. Powered by Apple's M2 and R1 chip, it takes the computer power of a s capabilities right into the headset.
It comes equipped with 4K vision module inside the headset turning it absolutely life like imagery. It comes with 2 forward facing stereoscopic cameras, 2 more for low side, 2 on each side covering naturally the eye movements making the immersion experience more closer to natural vision.
It also has a LiDAR sensor for depth detection. All these 7 optical sensors are housed behind a curved toughened glass shell which also houses a OLED display. This outer display is used to mimics the eye/part-face behind the headset making it look like a transparent display for others, in AR mode.
The inside of the headset, there are a whole bunch of cameras tracking the eyeball movement that powers the system to show exactly on focus, with more depth while making other part less thereby conserve energy.
Coming to the powering of the headset, is a detachable battery that fits into the hand or pocket connected through a proprietary connector. The battery is said to have enough juice to power the device for 2 hours.
Apple Vision Pro is going to be priced at US$ 3,500, making it affordable for the riches and less for the masses.
