World Environment Day - 2023

Everyone on the occasion of World Environment Day; the economies, the corporations, the governments, and the people take oath to protect it. It shows the solidarity in the purview of the involved for their contribution to conserve, lessen the damage and revive it to the best state for sustenance of the planet.

There are several things one can do as an individual, or as a company / society / or even as a country, to upkeep the environment for a better future.

First and foremost would be to reduce the indulgence of wants and focus on the needs, then switch to a better way of having/doing it.

Core essentials such as food and clothing have a larger impact than you think.

Organically cultivated food is not only good for you, but even for the environmental at a greater view. Clothes made out of cotton and other natural fibers are good for your health and is much cheaper. They are also trendier with newer fashion, try it.

 

Energy can be harnessed from a renewable source, such as Solar Rooftop.

rather than from the quick, easy and environmentally dirtier one.

 

Single use plastics, reduce their dependency.

Did you know, that a plastic bag was not originally to be used as a single use but intended for a longer use. Yes, you can use the plastic bags multiple times, just keep it clean, fold and keep it in your pocket. It is really that simple and a handy solution. Even better, keep a cotton or any other natural fiber based bags.

 

Electric Vehicles Switching to EV's for mobility needs

Avoid the dependency on the fossil fuel based mobility as much as possible. It is very convenient, but it also makes to the worse polluting option. However, EV's not only cleaner, but they are highly reliable, less in maintenance and cheaper in long run to own and operate. Don't fall for the 'expensive battery replacement' cry baby syndrome.

Helping each other out, yes, even this simple and humane gesture can lead to a greater good, only when you look at the microscopic detail of it.
