Mock Drill To Be Held In Several States - MHA, India

A few regions in the country are selected to conduct civil preparedness mock drills for war-like emergency situations.  The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has directed multiple states to conduct civil defense mock drills on May 7, focusing on preparedness and response mechanisms in times of national emergencies.

These drills will test alert systems, coordination among first responders, and public awareness regarding potential threats. As tensions in the region rise, such exercises are seen as critical to strengthening internal security and civilian readiness.
