The Blunder called KPSC Exam, Karnataka

KPSC, short for Karnataka Police Service Commission, has been in the news for several years in the past & a few days too for bad administration practices. The recruitment of the Karnataka Police Department has witnessed a series of blunders & cries of corruption, right from the calling for the examination till the issuance of the recruitment letter.

The recent exam, too, witnessed such discrepancies when it was found the question paper was translated with wrong semantics in the state's official language. This resulted in the protests from the candidates who noticed this discrepancy and approached the Karnataka High Court eventually. Upon notice of the issue, the chief justice of the high court ordered a re-exam for those who were affected by this issue. 

But in another blunder by the KPSC, the issuance of the hall ticket was issued between midnight and 3am on the day of the exam. As many of the candidates were hailing from regions of the state who were unable to make it in time, and also, the new question paper was found similarly faulty as before.

Another claim was the leakage of the question paper that was made available to a few candidates. This resulted in the police taking custody of those candidates who questioned these blunders.
