IMD Issues Red Alert for Severe Rainfall in Southern India

Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issues severe rainfall alert for several regions around coastal & plains of southern India for the next three days. After heavy spells of rainfall throughout the country, including the country's capital, Delhi & NCR, the clouds have been traversing towards southern India with heavy rainfall over Gujarat & region around.

Several videos have been floating around in the social media of the extreme flooding that resulted due to the heavy downpour.
