With co-driver Yan Griffiths, Chris Wheeler and their Ford Fiesta Rally car.
Ralli Heart - NEWS recently spoke to the young motorsport talent Chris Wheeler (Age 19), from Torquay, Devon, England.

Q. How did your arrival into Rallying happen?

Born into a motorsport family, grew up with racing / rally cars around and took to rallying as an aim of what I wanted to do and become the best at.

I started go-karting from the age of 8 to get into motorsport as a driver. I have also done auto tests and grass roots to learn how to drive.

Q. What are your future plans into Rallying?

My aim in life is to make it to the very top in rallying and to be the next British rally star. I started rallying from the age of 15 and progressed each year and now competing in the British Rally Championship Challenge for 2013.

So far I have competed on the Manx National Rally, Jim Clark, Epynt, Pirelli Rally and other national rallies across the UK.

Q. Mainstream rallying like WRC sometime?

Main BRC is in the pipeline for the 2014 season and will hopefully move on into the WRC Academy in a WRC driving for a works team such as M-Sport.
