Three minor sisters killed themselves after plunging from their 9th-floor apartment home in Ghaziabad, and authorities recovered a handwritten note saying, “Sorry Papa.” Police have treated it as a suspected suicide case and have begun an investigation. Initial reporting suggests the girls may have been under severe emotional distress, but officials have not confirmed motives and are examining family circumstances, school pressures, and other possible factors.

Post-mortem examinations and forensic analysis of the note are part of the probe, and the family is being questioned to understand what led up to the incident.

Out of respect and responsibility, many media outlets are avoiding graphic details, and investigators have urged the public not to speculate until the inquiry is complete.
