Recently, one of our representatives were contacted by Amazon Transportation Services Pvt. Ltd. (the fake one), offering District level, Pin-code based franchise for the last-mile delivery services. They (the fake Amazon people) asked our representative to make a payment of before they could start the process, for a princely sum of Rs. 99,000/- for a 11 months plan or Rs.1,80,000/-, (Rs. meaning Indian Rupees).
An email was also sent from the same fake domain name, and once was contacted everyday since it all began. The calls only stopped after they were told about the investigation to confirm their legitimacy, the calls were stopped.

The website feels so legitimate, so is the domain name. Even we thought it was a real one and just went ahead to do a fact check, but it ended up shocking us about it.

As our representative got suspicious, they called our Bangalore team member to cross-verify the legitimacy of the offer before proceeding any further. And upon the request, we visited the Amazon office headquartered in Bengaluru. After a brief investigation, we were told that Amazon DOES NOT proceed with such a process to onboard. So it was confirmed that it was a fake (scamming website).
Here are the results of cross-verifying the domain-name registration data and where the scamster website has been registered only 16 days old (to this day of reporting).

Beware of such scams, where people are not willing to meet you in person before you are forced to make the payment. It is the modus operandi of such scamsters.
The legitimate Amazon.com website has been registered & operational since 1994-11-01, for a total of 10,712 days (again, to this day of reporting).
