At the end of the voting day, of Karnataka State Assembly Polls 2023, only 65.69% till 5 p.m, of all the listed Voters exercising their rights.
The state capital witnessed its the lowest turn ever, around at around only 53%.
Also Bengaluru witnessed some key highlights such as,
- both kidney transplant donor and recipient exercising their voting rights, after their surgery 7 days ago.
- A fight broke out between BJP workers outside a polling booth in Padmanabhnagar on Wednesday. One group of BJP workers alleged that the other group was not allowing them to work and arguments broke between them after sudden provocation.
- Police said they are investigating the matter based on CCTV and other evidence. An FIR was registered against 15 persons under sections 341, 323, 324, 504 and 506.
