Tribal Army, a socio-political group, slammed the police over the incident.

“Inside the Manpur police station in Indore district of Madhya Pradesh, the station in-charge and 5 policemen brutally tortured 19-year-old tribal youth Arjun Singare in custody. The young man was beaten up so much that the stick was broken, then he hit him with the handle of an axe. He was beaten to death. Shameful,” Tribal Army said in a tweet.
