After a few intense meetings of both the CM aspirants, D.K.Shivakumar & Siddaramaiah with Congress party National President Mallikarjuna Kharge, an official announcement is still kept on hold. However, by today evening it is likely to be made public, as tomorrow is the date the seniors leaders have chosen for the swearing in ceremony forming the new Government of Karnataka.
Reportedly the supporters of Siddaramaiah have already began their celebrations in Bengaluru by pouring milk on his picture. It is said that DKS has disagreed on splitting the tenure of the CM's post and Karnataka State Congress President also refused to take on chairing the Deputy Chief Minister. Voicing out his disappointment, he said to remain as an ordinary MLA.
Rahul Gandhi is said to have met both Sidddaramaiah and Shivakumar at Sonia Gandhi's residence today, and the party is likely to make official announcement of the next Karnataka's CM latest by evening.
