A heavy-duty model in the Intra lineup, the Tata Intra V50 gets a 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine, producing maximum power output of 79 bhp and a peak torque output of 220Nm. It is equipped with a combination of parabolic leaf springs at the front and semi-elliptical leaf springs at the rear, and maximum payload capacity of 1500 kg.

Interiors
It comes with a cabin layout that is all-black, the AC vents, Console in the Center having Silver-accents providing a nice contrast to the cabin. A 1-DIN music system sits in the center of the dash, surrounded by silver accentuated AC / Air-blower vents. Gear shift lever is integrated at the center-bottom the dash.

The overall design of the Tata Intra V50 might be new-age, but under the skin, it still has conventional roots, with its suspension setup being a combination of parabolic leaf springs at the front and semi-elliptical leaf springs at the rear. The Tata Intra V50 comes with 165 R14 tyres on all ends as standard. For the braking duties, Tata Motors has equipped the Intra 50 with disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear.

Exterior
Overall stance and silhouette of the Tata Intra V50 looks very familiar to those of the Tata Ace line-up. However several new-age design elements make it look distinguishes the new design. With more aero elements the Tata Intra V50 is covered by the windscreen which has a curved upper design and tapered-down lower edges. The lower part of the front facia features angular clear-lens headlamps and a chrome-bathed rectangular grille spread between the headlamps. The front bumper is completely refreshed with attractive dark silver surrounds for the fog lamp housings and air dam in between them.

It is slightly larger than the Intra V20 which is positioned below it. Having a wheelbase of 2600mm and a ground clearance of 175mm, plus a payload capacity of 1500 kg – 500 kg more than the Intra V20, the V50 is designed to tackle the most undulated roads as well as off-the-road trails with relative ease.
